There’s almost no way Reja will deviate from his 3-5-2. Until Navarro and Lavezzi get back from the Olympics this is my thought on how the starting lineup will shake out:
Iezzo
Santacroce-Cannavaro-Contini
Maggio-Blasi-Gargano-Hamsik-Mannini
Denis-DeZerbi

Obviously, any new player coming in may impact this formation and if Domizzi can’t work out a deal, I think Reja will play him at LB instead of Contini. There’s always the potential for the drug suspension against Mannini but I’m not sure what the deal is there or when we’ll get a ruling. All in all, this isn’t a bad lineup and is an improvement over last year, but it looks a hell of a lot better with Lavezzi in there, doesn’t it.

Also, I’ve heard nothing at all about TV rights. Nothing. And, believe me, I’ve looked.

FSC should televise Palermo and Napoli exclusively…I could live with that

They would not show any home games cause of TV rights. An then sorry ass fsc only showed like 4 away games. I even wrote them a letter telling them not to descrimate against us southern folks.

I couldn’t believe Santacroce was left off the Azzurrini.

Joe – any thoughts on Napoli’s formation? There’s a possible back four of Rinaudo, Cannavaro, Santacroce, and Maggio.

There’s so much on the line for Napoli. Advancement beyond either the Greek or Serbian club isn’t a certainty by any stretch, but I can’t see this team failing to advance. The home field advantage at San Paolo will be tremendous. Everyone knows what’s at stake for this club and we simply have to get to the UEFA Cup group stage. I think that’s the reason Marino made most of his big buys before we went to Austria. This team needs time to gel and there’s been a good deal of turnover. All these friendlies will help the club come together unless we pick up a key injury or two. All that being said, I’d like our chances a lot better if Lavezzi were there. As it is, he may be out for the first few weeks of the Serie A season depending on how far Argentina advance.
