Conversely, it may have a comic twist, in which a wily peasant outwits the Devil, in the shape of Rubentus

Mr. Taylor I hope the cosmic connection of the two brothers who wrote that wonderful tale will somehow inspire the two brothers on the pitch to reciprocate with a similar collaboration of shrewdness. Cheers !

Appeal won!! 2 points recovered and Canna and Grava have their suspensions revoked.

In some ways, we are lucky that Gianello is an idiot who cannot be trusted.

Wonderful news! After such a dismal end to 2012, what a joyous start to the new year…right where we should be, breathing down Juventus’ neck…

This deplorable segment of historical injustice in my opinion is and could one day be shown to have been orchestrated and executed with the vengeful weight of a malignant old lady. In times of prayer, the memory of my childhood brings to surface the hypnotic chants of rosaries that were exercised in communal fashion around the kitchens in the ghettos of Naples. Recited in chorus by benevolent Neapolitan old ladies.

” Agnelli di Dio che togliete i peccati del mondo avete pieta di noi “

Congrats on the verdict! As a huge Juve fan I know Napoli’s pain at dealing with a bumbling FIGC this year. Now the Scudetto race is on! And I hope Napoli push us all the way. Oh, and Napcorda use some brains if Juve had pull with FIGC to harm Napoli why didn’t they use it to get Conte off?

I am not sure pull is the issue . Vengeance is inplied here. Thanks for the compliment anyways.

Very happy with the news! Canna and Grava must be out of their minds and looking forward to getting back on the pitch. Tightens up the top of the table, putting more pressure on Juve. Looking forward to the rest of this season!

    Forza Napoli!

I thought this was nice to share with you guys. I tried to translate as best as I could…

Luigi Vergaglio from Napoli Magazine reports that at 6:58 PM. The public intercom at Materdei Metro Station in Naples announces the news of Napoli’s verdict. In a singular and blusterous, joyous uproar the people in the station showed their common exuberance at the news. This he goes on saying is what Naples is, one people, one city, one team. This is why everyone is so envious of Napoli.

Estatic that the appeal was successful. They should have never been deducted points or incurred suspensions in the first place.
No need to buy any defenders (unless there is any quality available for cheap) like Astori or Bochetti for under $8m.. Otherwise, Cannavaro is back and I’m sure he’ll be pumped up!

The old Neopolitan old ladies I knew would have slit his throat rather than rely on worry beads but I totally understand what you are saying MR Nap and nice to hear that snippet on the metro. I also did a piece on the INsigne brothers but can’t find it if I do Neil shud I send it in. And am afraid Mr Domini for all his benevolence and false northern piety MR Napcorda doesn’t give a flying Donkey about what you think he and I and every other Napoli fan know the truth whether you refuse to see it or not. Conte was just too big (sic) oh excuse me he did get the ban shortened didn’t he?

Looks like market is closed. Only $10-15 million he will invest in June? That doesn’t seem like alot of money (assuming) they make it to Champions…

I would have liked to see Vargas go out on loan to a lower serie a team, that way he would have been able to get used to serie a and we could have followed his developement more closely. Instead he went to some South American team.

I think there was an underlying issue of language for this young man. This was hinted by a statement by the president on why he specifically wanted him in south America.
