Napoli vs. Catania

By: Neil | February 2nd, 2013

Britos and Campagnaro are suspended forcing Mazzarri to shuffle the deck a bit. Catania is currently in 7th place and this is not an easy fixture at all. However, Catania’s strength is mainly at home as they’ve picked up just 9 points on the road this season. Napoli, meanwhile, have one of the best home records.
De Sanctis – Zuniga, Cannavaro, Gamberini, Armero – Mesto/Inler, Behrami, Dzemaili – Hamsik – Pandev, Cavani

Nice stuff Mr Nap “How many times must the cannonballs fly, before they’re forever banned? …How many deaths will it takes till he knows that too many people have died?” Like the winged figure in Albrecht Druer’s Melecolia 1 Mr Nap represents genius

Interesting..if the $63m release clause is met. It’s soley up to Cavani to leave. If we make Champions league (which I would say is a 90% certainty now), he will stay to have another crack at the scudetto as well as become Napoli’s all time highest goal scorer..I think he’s around 25 behind Maradona at the moment.

Can only see him leave for Spain. Absolutely no way he would go England.

Yea i only see real madrid or barcelona as cavani destinations. Man city and psg as underdogs. Those 4 teams are the only ones who could pry him away. Cavani seems to be happy. I dont see him accepting a team after release clause is met this summer

Feel privileged by your request. In the ways of my ancestral colleagues in this side of the pond the term pigeon hole was utilized in referral to the terminology used today as you’ve got mail @ editorial@calcioitalia.co.uk

Mr nap not quite sure what you have done did not want to put my e mail address onto the public forum as we get real hate mongers writing in if you dare criticise their teams. Some really ill people about. I have never had any really seriously threatening ones but some of the girls and boys a the Football Italia funny farm have. Chrit some of the replies to some of the blogs are abusive enuf. So if you have written to editorial@calcio.co.uk with your e mail then instead of ignoring it I’ll ask Anto to send it on otherwise they will just delete it sad but necessary nowadays. They wudn’t give you any recognition or answer personally as they are well busy. At one time when the mag was on the go everyone worked dint eh same office but now we are all over the place some in LOndon some in LIverpool and Giancarlo in Scotland. Have you seen Soccer360 mag or SoccerItalai on your local mag rack as I have a couple of stories in their every month it’s published in Canada I think. One ids all about Italian footy the other the MLS Spain EPL and Serie A excellent stuff glossy and big and all the best writers from Football Italia. Even on the Offside you there are those people writing in generic complimentary stuff so you’ ll go on their web sites as different from the ones Like ani’s that links to a great website anyway mate I dunno how e can resolve this but I too will feel privileged if you take the time out to do it s shall I check Anto at Football Italia “You have your way. I have my way. As for the right way, the correct way, and the only way, it does not exist.” By the way Steve is so rite about Barca and Real, South Americans in general usually only have eyes for those two

Really is a shame Canna never gets the call for the national side. I don’t mean just recently…but not once over the last couple of years. He’s been more than capable and has shown more class and character than some of the others Prandelli has called on. Sure, he is getting up there in age but could he not fill in for a friendly? Oh well… May glory come (soon) with the Partenopei!

Don’t mean to spam, I have no affiliation with the site I swear, but here is another article from whoscored on Hamsik.

Napoli have not lost any games in which Hamsik has scored or assisted: http://www.whoscored.com/Blog/h6xcapr4j0kvfpkqmffaow/Show/Player-Focus-Hamsik-the-Key-to-Napolis-Scudetto-Challenge

Mr Mani and Mr Napcorda just wait my friends Neil has sumting up his sleeve. Remember
    We like the Southern Hemisphere
That’s where the strangest things appear
The Matador takes hold of the ball
Now watch him make it disappear
Recess of the torso, said the actress to the hero
Now watch him make it reappear

Mr Nap Bludy MARVELOUS wot a hero. In the Stable of the Sphinx we are preserving the old ways from being abused, Protecting the new ways for me and for you. Seen them with Spooky Tooth Kinks and E of E in 1974 in that big college behind the Royal Albert Hall. Dave Arbus’ electric violin subs for what would normally be the rhythm guitar part and Jeff Nicholson’s guitar twists a blues riff around before setting a Hendrix-like wave of tonal pyrotechnics ablaze for the finale.

You know perhaps it is just a scientific approach into making a theory come to life, but in the days of sitting around a bon fire with my brothers in arms, by arms I mean our axes, we would disect, microscopicate, and autopsy-cate every riff that guitarists put out on stage and or vinyl floors. I always brought out the notion amist our discussions, that Jimi was the only one that made his axe sound like water. This is in reference to your ” Hendrix-like wave” I don’t know I’m just saying….
