Eric, I can’t find any faults with De Laurentiis so far – he’s poured all kinds of money into the club and been the most important person in the renaissance from zero to a UEFA cup team. His ambition and drive are second to none and he doesn’t have the reckless impatience of other Serie A owners. I’d give him 10/10.

Our progress so far has been great, and I think this year will be a test for Reja more than for Marino or DeLa.

i’ve kind of been let down by marino’s mercato this year. nothing like last year’s. i think maggio is a slam dunk but as for the rest i’m not to sure. i’m just scared because i think its gonna be hard for napoli to repeat last years performance especially with most of the other serie A teams getting a lot better. i’m tired of mediocrity we deserve more. i understand them wanting to build the team with a young nucleus, but we already have that. its time to dip in to the wallet and buy some stars to go along with the young guys. a regista and a striker. i think delaurentiis is either scared to pull the trigger on a couple of stars or he doesn’t have the money everyone thinks he does. we’re NAPOLI god damnit i’m ready to play with the bigs of serie A, i want champions league, i want a scudetto and i want it now. we’ve waited long enough. MAKE SOME BIG MOVES BEFORE THE MERCATO CLOSES ENOUGH WAITING. we’ve waited long enough. we deserve a top notch team, the city does.
