very, very disappointing. see a sensible sporting director would realise he is only 20 and would buy him on co-ownership then loan him out for next season. genoa have got to the position they are in through loans and co-ownerships.

marino needs to take note and de laurentiis needs to invest in the youth academies apparently man utd are after a youngster called marciano i think whos been likened to giovinco. so many young talents that napoli must keep hold of for the future

Hi, everyone!
I truly believe that this years market-strategy from Mr. De Laurentiis and Mr. Marino is to sign 3-4 big names. The strategy is designed to avoid that our best players wanting to leave for clubs participating in european competitions. If the club buys Quagliarella, Cigarini(still a possibility despite Atalanta not co-operating at the moment), Grosso, Pasqual or Dossena for our left back, then I think all of SSC´s current players will see that something positive will happen in the coming seasons. Furthermore it will have a huge effect on the supporters, which again could make San Paolo a strong fortress that wins us many points because of the extraordinary support from the most passionate fans in the world. If Lavezzi wants to leave despite all the above happening, then sell him. I would be really sad and angry but NO-ONE is above our beloved club. I hear that once again the club is interested in signing two keepers - Marchetti(Cagliari) and Cassano(Piacenza). Earlier this season Marchetti was linked to AC Milan but as I´ve mentioned earlier I dont think thats the position where we need quality. Maybe we can buy Cassano as backup but Marchetti wants a first-team spot. I just hope were holding on to Navarro and his potential, as I really would like to see how he would perform next season with a competent defense in front of him.
If the club had a different wage-structure a player like Trezeguet should have been the main-target for the attack, with Lavezzi and Quagliarella as the two other players in a 3-man-offensive. A trio like that would score about 35-40 goals during a season. We are all excited to hear some positive news on Quagliarella´s transfer. I really hope he will move to Naples, because having passionate players proud of wearing the clubs jersey is what it takes to build up something great. Positively it could also mean that Lavezzi would feel less pressure from the supporters, which would give him the needed personal space to improve his attitudes and his game. Let the arrival of 3-4 big players begin!

not sure how i feel about this one. on one hand lavezzi could of become even more idolised, but on the other hes clearly not happy. the fact his agent is pressing for a contract which he doesnt deserve is quite annoying as well. if selling lavezzi means quagliarella joining, i say good luck in liverpool el pocho.

quags and his whole family are dying for him to wear azzurri, a true neapolitan who used to go to the san paolo with his father. if there is any truth to that article i would be very happy with dossena as well, a back 4 of maggio, santacroce, cannavaro, dossena could be very interesting...

for a team to control man utd in a champions league final for 80 minutes, for me is completely dominating them. lets be fair after the 1st goal man utd had nothing at all. apart from a couple of c.ronaldo shots all game they were just toothless due to barcas passing game.

everytime a barca player ran at utd i thought they were going to lose the ball but their players are that good they just ghost past you. its been a privilege to watch them this season, what guardiola has achieved is astounding.

bit of bad news apparently atalanta are being awkward and not wanting to sell cigarini. they are a selling club so hopefully a deal can be reached as he is too good to play there

I had to work so missed the game. I am just more interested in the CL when Italian teams are playing. Sorry. Am glad that Man United lost though, as I despise the EPL.

Now on to the Nuggets vs. lakers

Sorry, I'm not trying to pick on you. I'm just not sure what you mean by complete domination. The stats show Barca had 53% possession and had 7 shots on net compared to 2 for Man U. Until about the 89th minute, Man U still had a chance to draw even.

man utd were poor, but its barcelona who made them look ordinary.
apart from the first 10 minutes, man utd were dominated, in my eyes thats a team being dominated for pretty much the entire match. if thats not close enough to completely dominating a team then i dont know what is. lighten up a bit mate

Alex, that was far from complete domination. You tend to stretch things out of proportion. Barca was dominant at times and played stylish football, but they simply outplayed Man U and won by a clear margin.

But I agree Barca is one of the best sides I've ever seen. To win decisively against a great Man U team (not very good on the day though) is something special.
