I’ve been following professional football since USA 94. That tournament really opened my eyes and got me interested in different countries and different styles of play. I’ve been following Serie A since around 1997 and I enjoy the unique style and culture of calcio. Around 2004, in an effort to reconnect with my Italian heritage (my mom’s family is originally from Caserta) I started supporting Napoli. The club had been rescued by owner Aurelio De Laurentiis and a new team was started from scratch. I would search the internet for scores from Serie C1, and that was the beginning of a hobby that would eventually turn into this blog.
