Here’s another person hoping your boys pass Juve, Nicky. Would love to see you guys in the CL next year. (But I’m still hoping it’s a Napoli win tonight…)

And Joe, I believe you. It’s just..it’s more of the same old thing that hasn’t been working. I’d go for your XI. Heck, I’d go for just about any XI that had 4 at the back, Calaio and Lavezzi up front, and represented an attempt to change things up to find something that will get the job done.

I really hope I’m wrong, Lisa, but that’s what was reported in a few sources (I should’ve cited them) but now I’m in a rush to get ready for some work calls. What I’d really like to see is a Dalla Bona and Bogliacino get into the starting XI with Calaio. Something like this 4-3-1-2:
Iezzo; Cupi, Santacroce, Contini, Domizzi; Blasi, Dalla Bona, Hamsik; Bogliacino; Lavezzi, Calaio. Based on merit I think that’s the best XI we have right now.

Nicky: I think people bag on Frey because he’s French and there’s soooooooo much love for Gigi people aren’t willing to see what I think is pretty obvious. You can’t deny his talent. Good luck after today. Really hoping you do get that 4th spot…hell I’m hoping you knock Juve out of 3rd to be honest.

But…Sosa…WHY?
I’m sorry, but what the frakking hell? “Here, kid, have a start. Oh, I’m sorry, you didn’t totally transform the team and singlehandedly get us the three points. Back to the bench!” He should at least get a couple games to prove himself.

Viola fan here. Thanks for the the preview. We really need this one as I don’t think our hold on 4th is as tight as you do. My father’s father was born in Napoli so I have a soft spot for them. No holds barred tomorrow, though.

We are really going to miss Gamberini and Frey is going to have to be at his best to give us a chance. And finally someone (other than Parma and Viola fans) who recognizes Frey for the superstar he is.

Nice summary Joe.
I’ll be the first to admit that Calaio was off of his game on Sunday but starting Sosa is lunacy in my mind. I think this may be Emanuele’s ticket out of here so they’d better go get another striker in the off season. I guess Reja feels some loyalty to Sosa but if loyalty is all it’s about he should go get Inacio Pia back then since Pia had a big game agaist Treviso around this time last year!
Fiorentina is a heck of team no doubt but failure is no option now. Napoli needs to come up with a hell of a home game tomorrow night. It feels like we’ve been stuck at 33 points for too long and the likes of Torino, Parma and Livorno are starting to creep up on us…I’m going to start getting nervous soon.
